Former Stripper Becomes A Nun:

A lapdancer has opted for the most dramatic of 'career' changes and become a nun.
Anna Nobili, 38, spent 20 years performing in strip clubs across Europe.

Deciding she wanted more out of life, Miss Nobili has joined the the order of the Sister Workers of the Holy House of Nazareth.

Next week she will be in Rome to perform a ballet called Holy Dance, dedicated to episodes from the Bible, for senior cardinals and bishops.

Sister Anna, originally from Milan, says she was 'inspired' during a visit to the shrine of St Francis in Assisi.

"I was throwing away my life dancing for men. I was being used as a drug by people who wanted to see me dance."

What's white and flies through the sky?

The coming of the Lord.

Stripper Arrested For Subway Pole Dances:

By Pav Jordan
SANTIAGO - A stripper who danced on the poles of Santiago subway trains to challenge the prudishness of Chilean society was arrested on Thursday during one of her lightning performances.

Monserrat Morilles, 26, surprised subway riders all week stripping to skimpy underwear, but she refused tips.

She said she was protesting a lack of tolerance in Chile, one of Latin America's most conservative societies where the first generation since the Pinochet dictatorship is reaching adulthood.

"This is just a beginning. We are starting an idea here that will grow and be developed further," she told Reuters as police and subway guards surrounded her.

The professional pole dancer worked quickly all week to avoid arrest, getting on at one station, finding a subway car with no children on it and stripping in time to exit at the next station.

Chilean media dubbed her "La Diosa del Metro" or Subway Goddess. She called her performances "happy minutes."

"Chile is still a pretty timid country," said her manager Gustavo Pradenas. "People aren't very extroverted and we want to take aim at that and make Chile a happier country."

Son Hires Stripper For Dad's Funeral:

A man hired a stripper to perform at the funeral of his father - who happened to have a fondness for gentlemen's clubs, according to reports from Taiwan. Taiwanese newspaper the United Daily News reported that Cai Jinlai had been promised a stripper for his funeral if he lived to 100. Jinlai was 103 when he died – reportedly leaving behind more than 100 “descendants”. He had died after walking about 5km to a town in Taichung County to vote in an election in the Taichung. His son, Cai Ruigong, told the newspaper that he had paid more than $170 for the stripper to dance around the coffin at the funeral. “He would travel around the island with his friends to see these (strip) shows,” Mr Ruigong said. According to reports, the exotic dancer performance at the funeral lasted 10 minutes.
